Michelle's passion for fitness began at a young age. She began dancing at Miller Marley at age 5 and never looked back. During college, she was a Crimson Girl at KU, and received her ACE certification to teach group fitness classes. She traveled the country teaching dance camps for Universal Dance Association, and later went on to become a KC Brigade Girl for 4 years.
After years of teaching, she was approached to try a Pilates reformer class...She was immediately hooked and decided to get certified right away, as it was the most amazing way to lengthen and tone the body she had ever experienced.
7 years ago, Michelle was certified as a PEAK Pilates Mat and Reformer instructor. She brings over 18 years of teaching experience to RAW POWER and strives to make everyone feel welcome. Her group classes feature upbeat music, smiles, laughter, and SWEAT! She believes that if you are having fun, you will come back, and commitment is the key to success! Michelle structures her classes to bring success to everyone, providing challenging progressions and effective modifications for all levels.

She lives for running--on the trail or road, with a friend or just the wind. Her passion for the sport filters through all aspects of her life--as an avid runner, running coach, and mom to two active boys.
Natalie begin running track in seventh grade, but it wasn’t until her earliy thirties when she needed to claim back time for herself while being a busy mom that she started training for races. Since then, Natalie has run countless races and five marathons, including Marine Corps, Philadelphia, NYC, Kansas City and Grandma’s marathons. She will be running the Chicago marathon this fall and the Boston marathon next spring.
Natalie works wth individual runners to help them reach their running goals, from achievng their first 5K to completing their personal best in a marathon. She also leads the RAW Power Run Club, which as a fun, low-pressure group run, is one of her favorite reasons why she loves running.

Her philosophy is that we are all runners, some just run faster than others. It doesn’t matter if it’s your first day or you’ve been running for twenty years, as long as you’re out there running.
Katherine is a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher and ACE Certified Personal Trainer striving to live life from a place of balance and deep joy. She has been teaching since 2011, and has learned from experience that the best skill she can help you develop is the ability to observe how your body responds to the exercise you do and the foods you consume...and then motivate you to work hard at what makes you feel your best! Katherine wants to help you connect to your body, challenge your limits, have fun in the process, and enjoy the confidence that comes from making positive changes in and out of the studio. Diana is a Nebraska native. She was very active as she grew up, but it wasn’t until she was a teenager that her true love of fitness began to grow. She started running for pleasure, and enjoyed it so much that she began entering races. After a few 5K’s, she challenged herself with speed and longer distance. It wasn’t long after that when she started lifting weights. She became hooked after seeing the benefits that a combination of cardio and weight lifting can offer.
After moving to Kansas City she began attending group fitness classes and loved them so much that she decided to get certified to instruct her own classes. Five years later, Diana brings experience and passion to each and every class, and thrives on pushing her students to find their “edge”. In an effort to always better herself, she continually attends workshops and trainings. She brings positive energy, upbeat music, and a FUN attitude to each and every class. Offering effective movements and modifications, her classes are welcoming to all levels. She strives to be an example of healthy living and hopes to inspire others to live strong, healthy, and confident!
Mendi discovered yoga in 2001 and immediately fell in love. The feelings and benefits she discovered through her yoga practice created a passion that grew and soon became a way of life. Feeling grateful for what she found on her own journey, she took the path further and decided to become a yoga teacher. After completing her Yoga Alliance Certified 200RYT, she’s following her passion in sharing her practice with others! As an active runner and fitness enthusiast Mendi has also found a love of yoga for athletes. Her classes are filled with fun and creative sequencing, smiles, and endless options to take your practice further. A fun & playful style with a lot of heart!!
I have been involved in Group Fitness for most of my life. I started going to the gym with my Mom at age 6 and remember sitting there watching her do step class and thinking to myself how I was going to do that someday. In middle school I started going to classes with my Mom and sister and was hooked! As soon as I headed to college, I got my first job teaching 4 classes a week at the Iowa State Recreation Center. From there, I learned to teach all sorts of formats and was certified through ACSM and AFAA. Being so active teaching classes and cheering for the Cyclones, I couldn’t think of a better major than Exercise Science with a minor in Health Studies. My last two years of college, I started Personal Training as well as teaching my classes. I loved helping my clients and students set goals for themselves, guiding them along the way and seeing them reach those goals. Their passion and motivation to always push further and harder, setting new goals for themselves, inspired me to keep learning and growing. I am always looking to keep my classes fun and fresh, pushing my students to challenge themselves out of their comfort zone. I currently enjoy teaching my classes, spending time with my family, running and traveling.
An Iowa native, Lindsey grew up with strong fitness role models in her parents, who were avid runners. After many years participating on organized athletic teams she tried teaching exercise classes in college and was hooked. She has been an active member of the fitness industry for 20 years both as a Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor.
As a veteran trainer, Lindsey’s exercise methods focus on innovative techniques that combine strength, cardiovascular and flexibility components. She likes to create classes that are sustainable over the long term and give participants a better understanding of what they are capable of with consistency. Pushing outside the box is one way Lindsey likes to motivate and empower her clients to higher levels of health and well-being.
Lindsey holds several certifications including: AFAA Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer, Stott Pilates Essential Reformer, TRX Suspension and Rip Cord Training, Les Mills Body Pump and Turbo Kick. Instructor trainings and continuing education courses are part of Lindsey’s commitment to keep her classes fresh and consistent with industry trends.
A certified ‘gym rat’, Lindsey enjoys taking different fitness classes and has fallen in love with Yoga over the past several years. Finding balance in fitness and life is something she strives for each day. When Lindsey is not exercising, you will find her home with family, taking care of a new puppy, or watching her two sons at sporting events.
