Essential Oils & Your Ayurvedic Constitution/Dosha

As we enter into the fall & winter season, we begin to experience changes in energy around us and within us.
Essential oils can help us balance our unique constitution/dosha in seasons of change and imbalance. In this workshop, you will learn the history of essential oils, what oils are balancing for each dosha, and how to use essential oils and their purpose. This workshop will contain working with essential oils, discussion and handouts will be provided.

Challenge yourself to 50 workouts with us this summer! We'll have a running tally for those who'd like to participate. You can count up to TWO per day, but they must be with us, either in studio or at boot camp. All qualifying participants will be entered into a drawing for you choice of a premium tank top or tub of protein.
Join us in collaboration with Simoneau Sports Performance (SSP) for a taste of outdoor boot camp! These 60 minute sessions will be held at 8:00am on Sundays at Blue Valley Northwest on the track. Non-member drop ins are only $10, payable on site. Bring water and a sweat towel.

Send your kids and their friends to us for 6 weeks of healthy fun! This one hour class, led by Sherry Edwards, will take your kids through movement and stretching designed to keep those little bodies healthy and functioning at their peak! The focus will be well rounded and include strength and agility, flexibility, core control and feeling good! We also have short discussions on nutrition, self confidence and good sportsmanship. Tuesdays at 4:30 beginning January 19th-Feb 23rd. All levels are welcome, ages 8-12.
Teenagers get small group training with Katherine Hubbard, Certified Yoga Teacher and Personal Trainer. This 4 week session, occurring every Sunday at 10:45am in January, will give your teen a better appreciation of the mind-body connection. The group will work on flexibility that will directly impact the health of their joints and muscles, improving athletic performance and stability. In addition, they will benefit from the positive, supportive environment that Katherine creates, encouraging self worth and confidence.
Join us for our Holiday Challenge!
In between Thanksgiving and Christmas is a GREAT time to refocus your goals for healthy living. This challenge will consist of a guided nutrition plan, utilizing My Fitness Pal for support and accountability. We'll also have a private Facebook page for inspiration and guidance. Keep your fitness on track with our "blackout" challenge to try new classes or instructors! Price of admission is $75 and includes optional body fat testing and measurements (before and after), an exclusive tank top, and a recipe book!
Our kick off meeting will be Nov 30th at 6:30pm where we will detail the challenge, get everyone set up with that they need, and answer questions. Can't make the meeting? No worries, we'll connect individually.
Wrap up meeting will be Dec 21st at 6:30pm. Measurements will be done again (optional), insights shared, celebrations will be had!

Tight hamstrings, hip flexors, and neck/back do NOT make for a powerful cyclist! Join Bree Ginden, Registered Yoga Teacher and former Big D Cycling teammate, as she takes you through the process of unwinding. You will take home knowledge (and a print out!) of yoga poses you can do at home that ultimately will help you become a stronger, more injury resistant, and well balanced cyclist. $10 for this valuable workshop.

Look inward to identify your hearts desire. A pranic-guided asana flow will create fluidity within the body. Surrender that which holds you back in life. Join Jen Phillips, certified Yoga Teacher, in an evening of boosting self esteem, finding calmness, improving concentration and having fun! Kids will create affirmation cards to use at home, practice a fun and empowering yoga sequence, and learn meditation techniques.

Whether you are a novice jogger or an experienced marathoner, yoga can complement and enhance your training program! Come learn how yoga cultivates muscular strength, flexibility, joint stability, mental focus, and body awareness. Your instructor, Katherine Hubbard, will go over common poses to accommodate the runners body (tight hamstrings, anyone?) , do a one hour practice designed to open up tight runners muscles, and talk about different types of yoga for various phases of training. REGISTRATION REQUIRED
