As a girl growing up in Johnson County, Bree participated in softball and the Shawnee Mission Northwest Dance/Drill team. It wasn't until after college that she really got focused on fitness and realized the benefits of healthy activity.
Her turning point was in the middle of The Trolley Run one year in her early twenties...it was an "easy" 4 mile race that she had not considered preparing for, and was running with her mother. Half way through this race, Bree was hyperventilating and cramping, and she knew that was not an acceptable place to be for someone so young! From there, she started running more (an activity that she despised at the time!) and taking Spinning classes. She fell so in love with the challenge of Spinning that she became an instructor, which led to teaching more group fitness classes, including strength and Tai Chi. Although she did spend several years in Corporate America, ultimately, fitness became her passion.
As an experienced instructor and trainer, Bree brings inspiration and leadership to her classes, creating a powerful, multi-level experience tailored to the individual. In her spare time, she competes in triathlons and cycling races for sport, and enjoys spending time with her wonderful husband, Loren, and their two sons.
